BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU
Dudu Guimarães started training Jiu-Jitsu in 1993, at the age of 11 years old, at the Academy new generation in Lebon/RJ, with teachers Rodrigo Medeiros and Francisco Albuquerque. In 1995 he moved to Niterói/RJ and went on to train with professor Welton Ribeiro.As a teenager, Eduardo loved to train No-GI, at this time he met the Wrestling Sports through his friend and then professor Alexander Ceotto that realizing your potential led him to train with your professor Hugo Duarte, in Botafogo/RJ, where he graduated to the purple belt, then went on to train with professor Alexandre Nogueira, who graduated from black belt in 2003.
Dudu taught in many gyms and fought several Submisson Championships. He also participated in major MMA events in Japan, the Netherlands and Sweden.
In 2010 Dudu graduated from law school, became a lawyer in criminal procedural law, when he withdrew from competition to devote himself to his studies, keeping his workouts and classes with his students.
After 20 years of training and competing in wrestling, Dudu felt the need to do something new, when in 2016 he decided to put the gi and return to training Jiu-Jitsu Championship, under the supervision of professor Luiz Paulo. Dudu came back at Blue belt, where he had stopped previously, but soon graduated purple belt and then brown belt, always participating in various competitions and getting WINS on each track. Until July 2018 he received his black belt from your professor Luiz Paulo on the podium after being Champion in the Boston Summer International Open the IBJJF in USA.
Currently Dudu Guimarães is 4° degree black belt in Luta Livre (submission wrestling) and a Jiu-Jitsu black belt.
